Lloyd is a highly skilled litigator with a focus on achieving client outcomes (in and out of Court) in a cost effective manner.
He has many years of experience in conducting large commercial matters as well as complex family provision claims and family law matters, but recognises that no matter how large or small the dispute, his clients need and deserve the very best service he can offer.
Lloyd graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Qld) in 1984, and was admitted as a barrister (QLD) in 1986 and a solicitor (NSW) in 1993. He gained a Masters of Law at the University of Sydney in 2002.
Broad range of litigation matters of a commercial kind in the Local, District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales. Lloyd is involved in diverse areas such as insurance litigation, criminal prosecution, debt recovery/commercial matters, taxation and a wide range of administrative appeals and negligence matters. He also has experience in employment matters, advising both employers and employees.
Bringing and defending claims for family provision as well as other estate litigation such as contested Wills.
Conduct of planning appeals, tree disputes, and defending prosecutions in the Land and Environment Court.
Advising and conducting proceedings in the Family Court including for members of the LGBTQI community generally, as well as for parenting and guardian related matters. Prenup agreements, binding financial agreements and parenting arrangements can be tailored to meet the needs of couples and all varieties of families.
Insolvency and mortgage, building and construction, commercial leasing and general commercial litigation. In particular, Lloyd has extensive experience in litigating the regulatory environment and in complex fraud related matters.
His background experience with the National Crime Authority, and Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions investigating financial crimes means he is well placed to conduct Family and Commercial matters where asset tracking is involved.
